Tasty drinks that are as fun to look at as they are to drink, that is the only way to go if you are hosting a Halloween party this year. We are going to make it easy for you this year, as some of the best restaurants on the east and west coast have decided to share their best drink recipes for you to try out.
Smashing Pumpkin (1OAK –New York City)
1 ½ oz of SVEDKA Vanilla
¾ oz of whole milk
¼ oz of simple sugar syrup
1 tsp of pumpkin pie spice
¼ tsp of fig jam
Serve: shaken and strained into a martini glass and garnish with ground nutmeg on top
Halloween Blood Flower (Trousdale Lounge –West Hollywood)
Hibiscus Tea:
1 ½ cups sugar
2 cups water
1 cup dried hibiscus flowers
2-inch piece fresh ginger, unpeeled and grated
Cocktail:
4 cups silver tequila or mezcal
2 cups freshly squeezed limejuice, strained
1 cup orange liqueur, such as Triple Sec
Cubed ice as needed
Thinly sliced lime, for garnish
Preperation:
Tea – put all ingredients in a medium container and infuse overnight in fridge (12 hours), remove from fridge and strain. Tea keeps for up to five days.
Cocktail – Combine the tequila, 2 cups of hibiscus tea, limejuice and orange liqueur in a large pitcher.
Kiss of the Vampire – on the rocks (Southern Hospitality –New York City)
2 oz 901 silver
1 oz lime juice
1 oz fresh blood orange juice
¾ oz of agave nectar
3 dashes ofTabascosauce
Serve – finish by rimming a 12 oz high ball glass with cayenne pepper sugar
SVEDKA’S Trick Bot – (The Beverly Lounge –West Hollywood)
2 parts SVEDKA Clementine
2 parts orange juice
Pinch of ginger
Pinch of cayenne
Fresh lime juice
Fresh cilantro sprigs
Splash of grenadine
Serve – Muddle fresh cilantro in bottom of shaker. Add ice and remaining ingredients (except grenadine) and shake for 10 seconds. Strain into a glass, splash of grenadine for color and garnish with candy corn on a toothpick.
Dulces De Los Muertos – (SL –New York City)
1 part AbsolutBrooklyn
1 part Dry Vermouth
1 part Dimmi liquer
2 part 7 Up
Grenadine for color
Serve – Pre-chill all ingredients by keeping the in the refrigerator. Add to punch bowl with regular ice and stirred until chilled. Garnish with 10 plastic skulls, 6 plastic eyeballs, 4 orange halves floating and filled with 151 and on fire. 3 rubber fingers, 1 large hand shaped ice block with grenadine/food coloring for blood. Serve tableside with skeleton ladle and rock glasses.

Dulces De Los Muertos
Spook-Tini (The Chandelier Room –Hoboken,NJ)
1 ½ oz Trump Vodka
¼ oz Grand Marnier
1 ½ oz fresh lime juice
1 T-spoon cinnamon water (boil water with cinnamon and sugar)
1 oz blood orange juice
Serve – shake all ingredients into a martini glass and garnish with a fig slice
Iceberg Vodka has created shot that by appearance lives up to its name, “The Blood Shot.” An interesting mixture of ingredients that will leave you looking for this shot long after Halloween is a distant memory.

1 part Iceberg Vodka
1 part Peach Schnapps
1 part Jagermeister
1 part cranberry juice
Mix, pour over ice, let cool then strain into shot glasses and serve!
